To Send General Message, Press “SEND GENERAL SMS” at main Menu. Now there will be three options showing.
1. Select Class – If messages needs to go to 1 class, few classes or all classes
2.Select Student – If message needs to go to 1 student or few students in a class.
3.Select Group – If message needs to go to a group of students from different classes
After selection, the next screen will show the sender & the receiver. By Default a message is going to the Parents & from the Principal. Appropriate changes can be made as per requirement.
Next screen will have a box where message needs to be typed (Only in English). All the other parts of the message are already placed here.
A character count at the right side will show how many characters are left. Message should be short and accurate. Do not write “Thanks or Regards”. Its already written at the bottom.
The next screen will show the complete message which is going to the Parents. Any correction needed, can be done by going Back. Also at the bottom of the screen, the selected class or students will show up. Once every detail is checked, press “SEND” button. A pop-up will come showing “Message successfully send”.
Send Absent / FEES Due Message
To send message to Absent students, select MARK ATTENDANCE from the main menu. The next screen will show the various classes. Select the class & next screen will show all the students in this class. Select the absent students from the list.
Next screen will show the Absent message already typed. Here “|student_name|” will get replaced with the Student’s name automatically for each absent student. Check the selected students again in the bottom list and press send.
Same process will follow to send Fees due message. Select FEES DUE NOTIFICATION from the main menu & select class & students.
Here also pre-loaded message of Fees due is placed. The message that will go to the parents will contain selected student name also.
